CONDITION

Good. The front wrapper shows pronounced rubbing and color loss along the spine edge, moderate edge and corner wear, scattered scratches and surface marks, and several creases. A vertical crease extends upward from the lower edge, with additional creasing and rubbing across the illustrated portion of the cover. The corners and lower edge show small chips and areas of paper loss.

The rear wrapper is age-toned and shows light soiling, scattered spotting and surface marks, edge wear, and minor corner creasing. The visible interior paper is evenly age-toned. The copyright leaf has light handling wear but remains clearly legible.

No signature, inscription, bookplate, or ownership marking is visible in the supplied photographs. The spine, title page, page edges, hinges, and complete interior have not been fully photographed, so their condition cannot be completely assessed.

No dust jacket, as issued.

An early 1963 Signet printing of Moonraker, retaining publisher number D2053 and the original 50-cent cover price. Although it is not the first Signet printing, the ninth printing predates many of the more frequently encountered mid- and late-1960s impressions and presents the recognizable Signet James Bond series design.
