CONDITION

Good. The off-white front wrapper shows moderate age toning and surface soiling, scattered marks, rubbing, and multiple creases. There is a prominent diagonal crease at the upper-right corner, additional creasing along the spine edge and lower portion, and wear with small nicks and color loss along the edges and corners.

The rear wrapper is age-toned with general surface soiling, scattered marks, rubbing, edge wear, and several shallow creases. A small crease or short closed tear is visible along the right edge. The visible interior paper is age-toned, and the copyright leaf has minor handling wear and a small edge nick.

No signature, inscription, bookplate, or ownership marking is visible in the supplied photographs. The spine, title page, page edges, hinges, and complete interior have not been fully photographed, so their condition cannot be completely assessed.

No dust jacket, as issued.

COLLECTOR’S NOTE

An early 1963 Signet printing of one of Fleming’s best-known James Bond novels, retaining publisher number D2030 and the original 50-cent cover price.
